We all face frustration. However, we have many different ways of dealing with it. I have been faced with a repetitively frustrating situation and I've responded several different ways. Here's how I've seen my reactions play out:
- Humor - laughing it off as something not worth my time.
- Anger - beginning to take it personally and wanting to lash out.
- Depression - taking it totally personally and allowing it to steal my attention.
- Confusion - disbelief usually leading to many conversations with people who can do nothing about it.
I try to remember that nothing happens that has not passed through God's hands first; that each frustrating incident is a chance to learn more about allowing God to reveal His truths to me and to teach me how to respond as Jesus would have responded.
