Nope "BLIRTHDAY" is not a typo. Today is the second birthday of this blog. I can't believe I've stuck with this for two years. And boy what a wacky two years it's been. I started this thing because two of my friends encouraged me to do so. Since then, one of those friends is becoming a Pastor and the other (which was already a Pastor) has seen his congregation grow from a few hundred to almost 6,000.
For me the last two years has seen us move twice (including three states), worked from three churches, sold a house, been to Notre Dame twice, lost some friends, gained some new ones, grew a greater appreciation for some faithful ones, went to Africa and I'm sure a ton of other stuff. We managed to avoid having another child in the last two years....give us time though. :)
Thanks for reading and caring what's going on in my life, the life of my family and the ministry that God allows me to pursue. I hope one day my children will be able to spend some time here and get a glimpse of a dad that loves them more than they can ever understand. More so, I hope the person they find on this blog is the same person they've come to know in life.
