I'm not the world's most die hard golf player or watcher. However, I love to get out and play and I love to watch the Master's. My problem this year is that the Master's is on ESPN. Or at least the opening rounds are. I'm a $10 cable subscriber. We can't afford to throw $50 - $60 at television. Even if I could I don't know if....okay, I probably would.
ESPN is not on $10 cable. I don't think major championship events should be on ESPN unless they decide to simulcast on ABC for the everyman television watcher. Having the opening rounds on ESPN and then switching to a network for the final rounds is like showing the first six innings of the World Series on HBO and then switching to network. I know, that's ridiculous but that's exactly what's going on with golf's biggest event. I'm not even sure if they'll be broadcasting the final rounds on network television.
Anyway, I just had to tell the world how irritating and stupid this is. I suppose money talks though.
I hear you...I am even worse! I am busting rabbit ears on my tv. Our building campaign took my cable...I don't even want to think about Monday Night Football not being on network anymore!

I got rid of cable when I found I could pretty much watch anything I wanted Online! I watched most of the masters at work Thur & Fri on masters.org. Great quality, but for some reason I didn't get much work done, I don't understand it.

David's dad goes to the Master's every year, one year he brought us a $40 beach towel and we're not sure if we're supposed to use it???..but if you're ever soaking wet and I'm nearby, I'll share my Master's towel.
