Beannachtam na Feile Padraig! (Happy St. Patrick's Day!)

Cead Mile Failte!  (Gaelic for "A Hundred Thousand Welcomes")  As much as I wish I was able to spend the day with my family celebrating one of the greatest holidays of the year I am glad I get to share my passion for St. Patrick's Day with my coworkers and volunteers in the office.  I won't write a long post about my heritage and appreciation for all today stands for.  If you'd like to you can read my post from last year here.  It gives some insight into what today is all about and why this IS a religious holiday.

To my wife and her co-conspirators, thanks for decorating my office.  I was pleasantly surprised.  I love it.  To my parents, thank you for raising me with an appreciation for our heritage both nationally and spiritually.  I'm very proud of where we've come from and I owe that to you.  To my children, I pray you know the great Love that this day stands for. 

To all the rest an old Irish prayer:

May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
